Two Rivers Steak & Fish House:

The Place for Community
and Quality Cuisine

Our Story

Pasadena is a small town in Maryland filled with people who have big hearts and good appetites. Situated on the Delhaven Peninsula between the Magothy and Patapsco rivers, the scenic town is not only known for being a waterfront destination on the Chesapeake Bay, but for its close-knit community as well. In fact, it was several members of the Pasadena business community who recognized the need for a casual, family-friendly restaurant that would deliver top-quality food to the area—and from that, Two Rivers Steak & Fish House was born.

Since 2011, our locally-owned and operated restaurant (referred to as Two Rivers by our beloved customers) has been the ideal destination for families to enjoy a delicious dinner together, sports fans to cheer on their team with a craft beer in hand, friends to celebrate birthdays and exciting life moments over cocktails, and more—creating lasting memories over a mouth-watering meal. Known for being a scratch kitchen, Two Rivers is the go-to place for juicy steaks cut by our own butcher, fresh seafood delivered six days a week, and baked goods, soups, dressings, and sauces made daily. We’re also famous for our in-house bakery, on and off-site catering, and our event space, The Reserve at Two Rivers.

Mark Morgan, Executive Chef/Partner

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mark has been in the restaurant industry since he was 12 years old. Working at an authentic Italian restaurant, Mark developed his passion for cooking, motivating him to save money to study at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in New York. Fresh out of CIA, Mark opened the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, a luxurious hotel where celebrities come to relax and play.  He spent the next several years perfecting his skills in Chicago, New York, and Washington, D.C., before settling in Pasadena. For 20 years, he was the owner and operator of Windows on the Bay, where he hosted over 100 weddings a year. Mark’s idea of the perfect meal is a big New York strip with a grilled lobster and a nice bottle of Italian red wine, shared on the deck with his family.

What Mark loves most about Two Rivers is being able to serve great quality food in a family atmosphere. Even on a Friday and Saturday night when the kitchen is going 100 miles per hour, he enjoys watching guests look at the steaks through the grill window and the kids facial expressions when they see the fire. Mark appreciates all the love and support he has received from the community from Windows on the Bay to Two Rivers. The gratitude he has for his guests is boundless.

Keith Thomas, Managing Partner

Born and raised in Anne Arundel County, Keith has worked in the restaurant business for over 20 years. His drive to help others and cater to people’s needs is what has kept him in the hospitality industry. Meeting people from all different areas, and having the ability to coach and train them, brings him great joy. Keith is very proud of the fact that Two Rivers hires from within, and that most of our current managers started on day one as servers and hostesses. At Two Rivers, we’re truly a family, and Keith will happily tell you that he has over 40 kids, and countless brothers and sisters, working alongside him every day. Keith would like to say thank you to the community for supporting Two Rivers in its success, and he hopes to keep your taste buds happy and your stomach full!

James “Jimmy” Hall, Executive Chef/Partner

At the age of 15, Jimmy began working at another staple Pasadena restaurant under the supervision of current Two Rivers Executive Chef and Partner Mark Morgan. During his time there, Jimmy realized he had a real passion for cooking and wanted to become a chef. This led to him attending and graduating from the Culinary Institute of America and then becoming the executive chef and in-house butcher for his hometown’s most thriving restaurant—Two Rivers! Even on his days off, you can find Jimmy cooking for his friends and family. He also loves traveling to find and try new foods and bringing his tasty new ideas back to our restaurant for our customers to enjoy.

Danielle Stracke, Event Coordinator (The Reserve at Two Rivers)

Danielle has been part of Two Rivers since day one—literally! When we first opened our doors in 2011, she started as a hostess and quickly worked her way up to lead our catering and events. Now, as our event coordinator, Danielle pours her heart into creating picture-perfect celebrations filled with unforgettable moments.

Her passion for event planning comes from years of organizing large family gatherings. A proud local, Danielle loves bringing people together and sharing her creativity with the community. When you plan an event with Danielle, you can count on her to be efficient, responsive, and impeccably organized—covering every detail so you can simply relax and enjoy your celebration.

Erin Roff, Pastry Chef

Baking and pastry making have been Erin’s passion ever since she started working for her grandmother at Patti Kake Bakery at 12 years old. From there, she went on to gain experience working at other high-end bakeries and hospitality establishments before coming to Two Rivers and running her own business.

With her imaginative mind, keen attention to detail, and artistic abilities, Erin creates works of art for clients as they celebrate many different life milestones. In fact, many are repeating customers who are part of the dedicated client base she has built over the years. From birthdays to graduations to weddings, Erin wows Two River’s bakery customers with her custom cake decorating skills, excellent organization and communication, and exceptional delivery and set up of their chosen desserts. When she’s not making delicious delicacies, you can find Erin spending time outdoors with her friends and family.

Courtney Emig, Pastry Chef

Courtney joined the Two Rivers team with an impressive background in hospitality. Having worked in the industry since age 15, she has seen different sides of restaurant life from being a server to advancing into a management role. Today, she completes our bakery dream team, where her passion and creativity shine through with every custom dessert and weekly special she makes. Courtney oversees most of the catering and banquet desserts for our customers’ events, with options such as mini desserts, cupcakes, cookies, pastries, brownies, cheesecake, and more. Her love for her craft is obvious through the incredible dessert ideas she brings to life, but also when she’s baking alongside her son at home.
